Steve C. Lewis began brokering Texas ranches in 1982. Since that time he has helped his clients buy or sell over 248,821 acres of land. Those 93 transactions represent over 202,381,000 Dollars in land sales. (As of March, 2011)

In addition to being an active farm and ranch real estate broker, Steve has managed his own cattle operations through the years. Additionally, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jefferson Bank, and Chairman of the Board of Jefferson Bancshares, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas.

Steve is an active hunter and wildlife conservationist. He practices habitat and wildlife conservation management on his own ranches. Steve is a past president of the Texas Wildlife Association. Steve is a current Trustee of the Texas Wildlife Association Foundation. He has served as a member of the Hunting Advisory Committee of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Steve is a past Chairman of the Private Lands Advisory Committee to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission. Steve is past President and currently serves as a director of the Texas Agricultural Land Trust. Steve is also a director of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and the San Antonio Zoo. Steve is a member of the Boone and Crockett Club.
